What “verified” means on Learnmango

Verified on Learnmango means we have checked that the coach and their programme are real and currently operating. It is not an endorsement, a quality rating, or a guarantee of results. Specifically, for every profile we publish we confirm:

  • The person exists and is publicly identifiable — an active official website and public professional profiles.
  • The programme is currently sold — the sales page, enrolment route or waitlist is live at the time we publish or last update the profile.
  • Pricing is taken from the official source — we quote prices from the coach’s own page and date them, because prices change.
  • Claims are attributed, not repeated as fact — income figures, student counts and testimonials published by a coach are described as self-reported. We do not independently audit revenue or results, and we say so on every profile.

We update profiles periodically; each one shows when it was last reviewed. If you spot something out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

How to choose an online coach in India

Coaching is largely unregulated in India, so the burden of checking falls on the buyer. Five questions separate a programme worth paying for from one that is not:

  1. Who is this actually for? A good programme names its audience narrowly — “service business owners already earning, who want to productise” beats “anyone who wants freedom”.
  2. What exactly do you get? Hours of live teaching, cohort or self-paced, community access, duration of access, and whether support is from the coach or an assistant.
  3. What does it cost in total? Look for the full price including taxes and any mandatory upsells, not the headline instalment figure.
  4. What is the refund policy? Read it before paying. Its absence is itself information.
  5. What do non-curated reviews say? Testimonials on a sales page are selected. Search the coach’s name alongside “review” or “refund” and read what turns up on forums and social platforms.

Our guide on how to find your coaching niche walks through the same reasoning from the coach’s side, which is useful context for buyers too. Two warning signs are worth naming. Be cautious when a programme leans on income claims — “earn ₹1 lakh a month” — without disclosing what typical students actually achieve. And be cautious of countdown timers that reset when you reload the page; manufactured urgency is a sales technique, not a real deadline.

Coaching niches we cover

Learnmango organises coaches into the niches Indian learners actually search for: business and entrepreneurship, digital marketing, personal finance and investing, stock market trading, AI and technology, career and job skills, communication and public speaking, leadership, health and fitness, nutrition, yoga and mindfulness, life coaching, parenting and relationships, exam coaching, English and languages, content creation and YouTube, e-commerce, real estate, freelancing and sales. Niche directory pages are being published as we add coaches to each one.

Coaching platforms and edtech in India

Many coaches teach through a platform rather than their own website, and some learners are better served by a platform than by a single coach. We review those separately:

Prefer live, multi-speaker events to one-to-one coaching? Our independent Success Gyan review covers the Chennai-based organiser’s five Gyan Summits and the Millionaire Mind Intensive.

How Learnmango makes money

Learnmango is free for learners. Some links to coaching programmes on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you enrol through them, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not decide who gets listed, how they are described, or what we say about their weaknesses. Where a profile covers a programme we have an affiliate relationship with, the profile says so.

Frequently asked questions

Who is the best online coach in India?

There is no single best coach, because coaching is specific to a goal. The best coach for a small business owner wanting to systemise operations is not the best coach for someone learning to edit YouTube videos. Start with your goal, shortlist two or three coaches in that niche, and compare what each programme includes, what it costs and what its refund policy is.

How much do online coaches charge in India?

Prices vary widely by format. Self-paced recorded courses are generally the cheapest, cohort-based programmes with live teaching cost more, and one-to-one coaching or mastermind-style memberships sit at the top. Rather than quote a range that will date quickly, each profile on Learnmango lists that coach’s current prices taken from their official page, with the date we checked.

Are online coaching programmes in India regulated?

Business and life coaching are not licensed professions in India, and no government body certifies coaches. Private certifications exist but vary a great deal in rigour. This is why we recommend judging a coach on what is verifiable — their track record, the specificity of their curriculum, their refund policy and independent reviews — rather than on credentials alone.

How can a coach get listed on Learnmango?

Coaches and programme owners can contact us with details of their programme. Listing is editorial: we decide what to publish and what to say, and we do not sell placements or positive coverage.

Does Learnmango cover podcasts and startups too?

Yes. Alongside coaches we cover Indian podcasts worth listening to — including the most-watched Figuring Out episodes — and profile Indian startups and edtech companies, including media platforms such as YourStory. New guides are published on the Learnmango blog.
